Fall Fun Party

We went to a fun Haloween harvest party with our friends. Ingrid and Jax were so cute together!!!

Is it Halloween yet?

Jude picked out his and Jax's costumes this year. Jude would have nothing to do with my suggestions. Jude is a power ranger and Jax is a cowboy. Jude keeps telling everyome that I am going to be a gorilla....i'm not sure what he is thinking. I don't have a gorilla costume. Am I missing something???

We have our pumpkins done!

I always thought that those pumpkin carving tools were just a ploy to spend more unnecessary money...well I was wrong, they are so easy to use and your pumpkins look so much better. Last year our pumpkins were scary not because we tried just because they were so ugly. This year I will have to say they are pretty good.

Carving Pumpkins

Here Burke is with the kids, Jude found the duck call...and the day was not the same.

Pelican Lake was so fun just like I remember.... We grew up spending every fall at the island playing on the bunk beads, climbing on the rocks, swinging on the tire swing and playing with the dead ducks. It is so fun to see my children doing the same things I did all of thoes years ago.

Pumpkin Train

Here we are on the pumpkin train again this year. It is really cute, the depot does a good job putting this on. The kids have a great time riding the train, picking out a pumpkin and having snacks. The parents get some great photo opportunities so everyone wins. Jax was getting a little wound up toward the end, and Burke and I were getting a little frazzled but oh well...the pictures are cute.

Off to the skateboard park

Jude wore his helmet to the skateboard park. Jax is just along for the ride and fresh air. He is 11 months old now...can you stand it?

Skateboard Dude I mean Jude

Jude HAD to go to the skateboard park. So off we went on one of the last sunny beautiful days in September. Jude thought that he could go down the big ramps and go off jumps. He has no fear and no concept that he can not do anything the older and much bigger kids could do. Thank goodness for the wrist, elbo, and knee pads...and of course helmet.

Rocks

There is nothing like a Lake Superior rock to file down those teeth.
