Sunday we went to the family fun fair at the DECC. It is a fun event for the kids. Jude won a huge dog on the ring toss. He had his face painted and rode on all kinds of rides. Jax ate mini donughts and loved the flashing lights. Jude and Burke had their picture taken in the back of the police car. I love the one where Jude is looking out the back window. Bad but funny. Jude loved Champ, the Bulldog and Jax screamed in fear. We all got balloons and our fill of the fair for another year.

Rosey Cheeks

I just love the rosey cheeks the kids have after playing outside in the winter. Jax...he just loves pizza.

Sliding at Chester Bowl

On Saturday we went to Chester Bowl for their Winter Carnival. The boys had a great time sliding until I sent Jax and Jude down the hill and they hit a snow bank and crashed. Both boys are ok, Jax has a little road rash on a cheek...he is tough and is ok.

Jude and I met his cousins and Papa at Giants Ridge on Saturday for a beautiful day of skiing. It was so warm and the snow was perfect. Jude is really catching on to skiing and is going up the magic carpet to the top of the hill all by himself. he ais also going down the bunny hill by himself. Someone needs to be there to catch him as he gets going a little fast toward teh bottom of the hill. Jude's Papa was teaching him to turn and smowplow to slow down. He was getting it by the end of the day. I was so proud of our future olympic skiing champ.

Boat Sport and Travel Show

On Thursday we went to the boat sport and travel show. There was a group showing labs, Jude was sure that we were taking one home with us. It was hard to pull he and Jax away. They loved those dogs. Jude tested, 4 wheelers and sat on pontoon boats. We ate popcorn and jerky and drank soda. Pretty successful boat show.

Puddles

The weather has been great, in the mid and upper 30's. Perfect playing outside weather. We try to get out as much as we can. On this particular day the boys found it especially fun to jump, laydown and roll around in the puddles in front of our house. We were all covered in muddy very cold water. Lot's of laundry that day..oh well, it was fun!

Eddie's birthday

On Valentines Day Eddie (Trent and Brita's) black lab celebrated his 14th birthday. Ed had a cake made of bread and peanutbutter...and sprinkles. The boys thought it was fun and helped Ed eat his cake. Jude, Jax and Ed licked peanutbutter off the kitchen floor...Yumm. Thank goodness I am a clean freak and the floor was not that dirty.

Jax first taste of beer...bad dad!

Don't call child protection services... Jax only held teh bottle and stuck his tounge in it and unfortunately liked the taste. No more Stella for him.

Beautiful day

It was so sunny and warm out to day we had to bundle up and go outside for some warm winter fun.

Wolverine Jude

Jax had been sick all last week with RSV and an ear infection and Jude was such a good big brother all week so we rewarded his especially good extended good behavior with a trip to Target to pick out something. What does he pick out? A large Wolverine claw thing. Jude was so good and excited about it we just could not say no.

Cool Stach

Jude is into fruit smoothies and asks for them at least 3 to 4 times a week. I think he just likes the purple mustache.

Yummmmm

Jax found a bag of Cheetoes, he went kind of crazy, shoving them in his mouth as fast as he could. Can ya blame him?

Let's Play Tackle

Our friend Steve was in town, little did he know he was going to be Jude and Jax play toy for the evening. As Steve learned quickly, Jude and Jax favorite game these days is tackle.

We still love the vikings

Even though the vikings lost, Jude and Jax are big fans and now tackle each other...Great...
