Star Wars Birthday
Rory and Jude celebrated their birthday this year with a Star Wars theme. It was a big hit. We had a jedi knight training course. Brent provided the giant planets (balloons) that the kids could wack with their light sabers. Darth Vader and a Storm Trooper showed up and were chased and attacked by the kids. Poor Mia and Brady. The kids had to find astroids that were hidden all over the yard. And Nana made teh best R2D2 cake ever. She re-named it R4J4, Rory-4 Jude-4, so cute. We ate vador tators, had yoda soda, and hans burgers. It was a huge success. I have no idea how Ali and I are going to top this years party, it was pretty impressive if I do say so myself.
Beach Party
Jude's school has a beach party every spring for the kids, and their families. It is so cute the kids dance us a storm, get prizes, have treats and run around like mad. Jax thought it was pretty cool too. He found that people left their plates full of food unattended and he just walked around helping himself to snacks. Every time we turned around Jax was grabbing food off someones plate and shoveling it in. Jude danced with one of his teachers, Miss Jenny, and thought he was the king of the world. it is no secret that Jude LOVES Miss Jenny. You know you have the right school and the best teachers when the first thing your child does when he walks into a party is find his teacher, Miss Kathy, and run up to her and give her a huge hug. We are so lucky to have Jude at Promise Preschool.
Jax and Snacks
Jax is learning so much so fast. He makes all kinds of sounds like an elephant, a dog, a monkey and a cow. He also loves to climb and stands on top of his toy chest, looks out the windows and yells at the ducks. His favorite word is mama but we also hear duck duck duck alot.
As long as Jax is eating he is a happy guy. That explains all of his recent pictures are in the highchair.
Happy Birthday Nana
