Playing inside

Jude and Jax played insied while the weather outside was horrible. We had about 36 hours of 40 plus mph winds and rain rain and more rain. What an icky day! The kids kept busy destroying the house.

Pelican Weekend

We had another fun weekend at the island. Alicia, and Dana's families and my Mom and Dad all were there. There was a full moon and the stars were out in full force. The boys kept busy building forts and running around outside with the cousins. We ate way too much food and enjoyed a sauna and a roaring fire in the big rock fireplace at night. Great memories!

Hockey

Jude decided that he wanted to play real hockey this year. So off to the sporting goods store Burke went. Jude now has everything you could imagine for hockey...and then some... If I remember correctly the speach went something like this. "Jude, I did not have cool shoulder pads like this until I was 13." Poor Burke, and his sad life. Well, because of Burke's misfortune (HA!) our child has EVERYTHING!

Pumpkin Carving time

We decided it was time to carve the pumpkins. Jude decided to have a funny face and Jax got a moon and stars all over his. (He is really into the goodnight moon book right now) It was a mess but a fun mess!

Early Birthday Present

Jax birthday is not for a couple pf more weeks but with the beautiful weather we decided to give him his birthday present early so that he could enjoy it before the snow flys. Yes, I bought him a four wheeler. It is a mini version of Jude's. Jax is really good at driving it. Now if we could get him to wear his helmet all of the time. It goes really slow and he thinks he is great. It is really cute.
