Big Bed Little Guy

I just thought Jax looked so funny in the middle of our bed. He looks like such a little peanut.

Jax

Here is our big/little guy. He is gaining weight and getting bigger every day. I love his new double chin. Arn't chubby babies the best?!!

Cal

We went home on Saturday to have dinner and visit with Amanda, Brian and Cal. It was a great day minus the 2 hour drive home in the blowing snow and icy roads. Oh well, that is MN for you. Isn't Cal so cute!

Mr. Conductor

At the Depot

Big Train

On the Train

Alicia, Brent, Mia, Sydney, Rory, Nolin Jude, Burke and me, all went on the Polar Express train today. We got on the train at Fitgers and rode it to the Depot where they read the story The Polar Express. They had people playing the parts such as the conductor and engineer and of course Santa! They did a nice job; the kids had a great time. Sydney even got to ring the bell on the train announcing that it was time to board the train for the ride home. Very cool! A rather good holiday adventure for kids and adults, as in, it is fun to watch your kids enjoying themselves.

Jude big smile

Jude hanging out in his favorite PJ's. It was a lazy day!

Brothers

Here is the weekly picture of the two boys together.

Jax after bath

We have a picture of Jude just like this all wrapped up in a towel after a bath. It is crazy how much the two boys look alike.

Snow

I love this picture. You can see the lake and lights of the city beyond Burke and Jude. It is so pretty with the snow falling. We are very lucky to live is such a beautiful spot.

Hurray Snow!

Big Snow Ball

Jude helped Burke shovel/play in the snow this afternoon. We probably only got a couple of inches of snow but it was windy and blowing up to 58 mph. That made for some pretty big snow banks and lots of fun. We will have a white Christmas for sure. I am not sure how bad the weather got in other parts of the area but it must be bad as they have cancled school already for tomorrow. I wonder if that includes work too?!

Goofy Guy

Well, this is Jax first official smile caught on film. He is a really happy little one in the morning. Jude was the same way when he was baby now that I think about it. It is so fun to get those smiles, it makes your day that much better.

DQ Treat

Jude did such a great job being a good boy during his time on PBS television pledge drive with his aunt Brita that we went and got a DQ treat after we were all done, yumm!

One month old

Jax was one month old on Monday. How time flies....well not really it has been a really long month. I guess that happens when you are awake 90% of the time.

Snow cross

Jude Burke and I went to Spirit Mt. this past weekend and watched some snow cross races. I am usually not a big fan of that kind of thing but OMG that was cool. Those snowmobiles were flying through the air. Jude and I were very impressed... Burke had seen it before. Jude got a cool guy snow cross winter hat and has been wearing it for days now. If you get a chance to see something like that live, you should do it, it is impressive.

Big jax

This week Jax all of the sudden fit into his 0-3 month cloths. It was all new born sutff up until this week. He is huge as you can clearly see.

Elf

Jude loves his new winter hat and as always his Thomas the Train backpack so he was happy to stand in front of the tree with his favorite things. I just noticed he kind of looks like a holiday elf. Must be the hat or maybe the vest.

family Picture

So we tried to take a family picture for a holiday card, Jude was in no mood to have his picture taken so as you can see that went really well.
