PBS Circus

Every year we go to the PBS Circus and like years past this year was super fun. Jude went on a bunch of "rides" got his face painted, saw some kids he knows and ate popcorn, soda and ice cream. Jax ran around and had fun too, his highlight definately was the ice cream.

Art Institute Gala

We were able to get dressed up for the second time this year..woohoo, another fun dress! This time was not as fancy as the symphony but equally fun.

DSSO

We went to the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra the other night. It was held at the new Clyde Iron building...very cool venue. The music was spectacular as the DSSO played with a group called MASS Ensemble. Great night with great friends. Food was good, entertainment was great could not have asked for a better night. And I got to wear a fancy dress...yeah!!!

Easter

Seaching for eggs, flying kites and eating lots of sweets were all part of a wonderful Easter. Burke and I both agreed that this Easter was one of the most enjoyable Easters that we have ever had. I even got a run in on the Mesabi trail and a sauna. It was a great day

Jude Birthday .20

Sunday was Jude's actual birthday. He is officially 4. Even though he thought that he was turning 5 sice he already had a birthday party and turned 4. Some of his cousins and Granny Karen came over and we grilled, ate cupcakes and played outside. Another great birthday for Jude.

MASS Ensemble

What an exciting day! We went to see a preformace group called MASS Ensemble. They are spectacular! They have many very innovative instruments like the Earth Harp, the Drum Jacket and other cool instruments. Jude's uncle Trent happened to be working for the venue and told the group that it was Jude's birthday. All of teh sudden twoard teh end of the preformance they said that they heard that it was Jude's birthday and asked him to come up and play the Earth Harp. There had to be 300 plus people and Jude went on stage and played the harp it was incredible. To top it off we were interviewed by the local news station and will be part of the news coverage on MASS. Like I said what an exciting day!
