Ready to race

We have gone to Wednesday night at the races the last two weeks. They are races for kids and they have a blast, Jude's group runs 1/8 mile and all kids receive a ribbon when they finish. You would not believe how many kids there are. Really great to see so many kids participate.

9 months old

Jax will be 9 months old on the first of the month...wow how time flies.

Swimming at Ingrid's

Jude and Jax had a great time swimming at their friend Ingrid's house. There was even pizza and snacks after. We love going to her house!

Mmmm dairy queen

We were just taking a walk through Canal Park and taking pictures, eating Dairy Queen and enjoying the afternoon.

In Canal Park they have the bubbling water all over and Jude can not resist running through them.

ARRGGHH, Jax the Pirate

Jax has taken up the love of all things pirate just like his brother.

Puddle Jumping

It rained most of the morning and then the sun came out and it was time to jump in the huge puddles. Jude is mid jump in this one. Some of the puddles near our house were so deep they were over his frog boots. Jude had a blast.

Pizza...mmmm...

Jax was yelling at us while we ate pizza the other night so I gave him some of the crust to chew on. He went crazy, loving every bite. The newest Green Mill customer.

Auntie Weekend!

My four older nices had Auntie weekend this weekend. They went to Jodie's and my house and concluded the weekend with Dana. We had a great tiome playing on the beach, having pizza and going to movies in the park. Everyone was tired when we got home around 11pm. The girls were wonderful to have around. Jude and Jax loved the extra attention!!!

First tooth

Jax finally popped his first tooth and he can not stop feeling the tooth with his tounge. He has had his tounge hanging out of his mouth for two days now.

Jude and Jax same age same face

This picture of Jax is so similar to Jude's same pose 3 years ago. They look so much a like, yet they are so different personality wise.

8 months old

Jax is now 8 months old and he wants to crawl so badly. He will get up on his knees and even up on his feet but just can not get the forward motion figured out. He gets really mad and slaps the floor and returns to his previous mode of travel, the log roll.

Pirate Ship

If you look behind Jude you can see a 3 masted pirate ship came into Duluth the other day. Jude thought it was cool until he noticed that there were not any actual pirates on the ship and then he lost intrest.

Playing football

Jude and I were playing football druing the sailboat races.

Sailboat races

The other night the Sail boat races were in front of the house, it is so cool!

one of many attempts at a good picture

I tried and tried to get one good picture of teh boys in their matching 4th of July outfits, as you can clearly see it did not go as I had planned.

Bite em'

Jax was not so thrilled about being held by his brother so he decided to yell at him. For an 8 month old he is really loud!

Jude is trying to help

Jude is trying to help out buy holding his brother..Jax did not think that grabbing him by the neck was so great.

The static electricity from the plastic slide always stands Jude's hair on end...funny

Here is Jax hanging out in his stroller, checking out all of the action.

Corbin and Jude playing and having fun on the fourth.

Jude and one of his girlfriends Ella...he is such a ladies man.

Fireworks

The 4th of July celebration ended with the wonderful fireworks. Jude had an absolute blast with all of the kids over to his house for a party, he did not go to bed ultil 11:30. Jax was excited too; he did not go to bed until 9:40, almost 3 hours past his normal bed time. He was delerious and crying....I was just about there too. We heard that the police closed all entrences into canal park as there was so much traffic and it was literally jammed up. Cars were at a stand still around midnight on Park Point trying to get off the point. Glad we did not have to go anywhere.
