Thanksgiving was fun. Burke cooked a perfect turkey on the grill, we ate way too much food and had a wonderful time.

Bentlyville

On Friday Bentlyville offically opened. We have been watching the progress and driving over to Bayfront to check out the lights every now and again. Bentlyville for those of you non Duluth people is a huge display of lights that takes up all of Bayfront Park, it is so cool! We will be there at least every other day. If you have the chance to see it, you have to go it is really great!!

Putting up Holiday Lights

Saturday was such a beautiful day we decided we better get the holiday lights up before teh snow flys.

Jax in Hats

Jax loves wearing hats it is really funny how he will put them on and proudly run around the house. Here he is gearing up for summer and fishing.

Hanging at teh Rink

Here are Jude and Jax at the hockey rink last week after lessons. I think Jax had more fun running around the the arena than Jude had skating. Jax yelled at us when it was time to go and actually ran away from me. Bad sign of things to come.

Best Friends

another birthday party

Jax,had another birthday with his cousins and nana and papa last week. Chocolate cake was on the menu for the afternoon....yumm!

Our whole family has some sort of yucky coughing, achey, stuffed up, fever illness so I have not added any new pictures in a while. I promise to get some posted soon. Being under the weather and haveing sick kids at the same time does not allow for much blogging....sorry!

Vikings Win!!!

Burke has Jude all wound up aboout the Vikings. When ever they play Jude will run around the house in his jersey and tell us that he is Brett Farve. It is pretty cute...I mean manly...go Vikings!

Fantastic Fall Day

What a beautiful fall day. We raked leaves and jumped in them about 100 times. Ahhh the days.... If fall was like that every day and not rainy and cold and windy what a wonderful fall it would be.

School Halloween Party

Jude had a fancy spider on his cheek along with his cool spiderman costume for school. Jax and Jude were busy that morning chasing each other around. Oh yeah....Jax is walking now. I will post video of that soon too!!!

Hockey Player

Jude had his first skating lesson this past weekend. Or as he refers to it as hockey. He did really well. Last year he could hardly stand on his own and this year he is moving along pretty well. There were a lot of falls and some tears but by the end of the lesson he was doing great. As soon as I figure out how to load video I promise to post some serious hockey/skating from Jude.

Happy Halloween

We started our halloween evening visiting Granny then some homes in the neighborhood then to Marsha and Pete's and then finally to Jodie and Dave's. Busy but super fun. Jodie and Dave get a ton of kids in their neighborhood so it is a blast for Jude to hand out candy. He along with Liesl and his favorite girlfriend Isla would scream "the kids are here" every time the dorrbell would ring and would all run to the door to hand out candy...perfect night.
