Lake Superior Fun!

We have made some new friends via Jude and his preschool...Ted Karen and Adain. Adain and Jude were in teh same class this past school year. Ted works for ski hut and takes people out on Lake Superior who are thinking about buying a kayak, or a paddle board. Lucky for us we get to try them too. Last night both Burke and I took out the paddle board; what a blast. We put PFD's on the kids (Adain and Jude) and they went for a ride too. It is suprising how stable the boards are. Some of the big boat waves were a bit much but over all a great workout and super fun. Jax even rode on the paddle board, right next to shore with Burke holdig on to him. He though it was cool too.

Grandma's Marathon

Another Grandmas Marathon has come and gone. It was a great race this year as I only ran the half, and the temp was not in the 90's. It was a great race. The boys had fun at the tents, eating bad food and drinking soda and running around. We had a bunch of company this year and had a great time. Burke was busy running around town taking care of business. Lot's of people in town using those ATM's, cha ching!!

Skateboard Park

Jude could spend all day at the skateboard park. He takes his scooter and flies around the park like a pro. He is pretty good and can weave in and out of the other "boarders" with out actually getting in their way. Jax enjoys the time at the park too because that means sliding down the ramps and eating snacks. It is funny Jude will follow teh big kids around and scooter right up next to them and stand inches away like he is part of teh gang. It is really cute to watch. The kids at at the park have all been really nice to him, it is nice to see such well behaved kids and young adults.

DSSO

We are about to leave to go to the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra's or DSSO playing the music of Queen. It was super fun. Jude was excited as you can clearly see.

Mowhak Jax

Burke decided that Jax needed a mowhak...oh my.
