The "clog" picture

I think every greatgrand kid has had these clogs from Holland on at one time or another...it was Jax turn.

Pep's doughnut...mmmm

mmm popsicle

mud soup

bath time

crawling in the yard

I was able to spend a couple of days home in Virginia a little over a week ago. It was fun. Jude got to go to peplenjacks bakery, papa's office and bring auntie Alicia and Papa doughnuts we then went to Grandma Great's house and ate our doughnuts. What fun! Jude and Rory played a ton, made mud soup...then sat in it and needed a bath and we also went to the "big" park and played with all of the neighborhood kids. Northside kids not Park Point kids, wnat a great neighborhood. What a great couple of days. I got to eat sitting down and the food was even hot...aaahhh the simple pleasures!

Watch out here comes Spider Man

Jude's Granny found this Spider Man costume at a garage sale for a quarter. Can you believe someone would get rid of sipdy for a quarter. What a find! Well, needless to say Jude loves this costume so much that he wore it for about 48 hours straight and has been in and out of it many times since. The mask is s permanent fixture on the kitchen counter as that needs to be worn even more frequently.

Super Fun Week!!

What a great week! Our besties from California aka Mike Sweetie and Brisa were in MN this past week. The week long visit began with a BBQ at our house, it was raining and foggy but we made the best out of it. We had our bestie Lynne's birthday...no numbers....on Monday a wonderful dinner at Mike's parents on Tuesday a pizza and swim (in Lake Superior)on Wednesday and a super fun afternoon of swiming and boating at Pat and Lynne's cabin on Thursday. Mike, Sweetie and Brisa are back in CA and it is our turn to visit them next. Here's to getting out of MN in the winter!!! For now we are enjoying the sunshine and summer right here in Duluth.

Mad fishing skills

Jude and Burke were tryiyng out Judes new fishing rod before we brought it to the lake to catch the really big fish with Papa.

PJ kind of day

Someone is wearing their crabby pants today!

Here the kids are checking out the days catch before Butch cuts them all up.

Jax on the move

Jax was trying to get outside (escape) where all of his cousins were playing.

More Rory and Jude

Hanging out int the outhouse

It is always best to have a partner when going to the outhouse.

Jude and Rory

I am sure they are discussing very important things.

Swimming and playing in the lake

Ready to go kyacking

Jude wanted to go kyacking so badly, luckly Uncle Tome was nice enough to take Jude out for a paddle. Ellie joined in the other boat for a little cruise around the bay.

Driving the boat with Nana

Driving the boat with Papa

Jude loves driving the boat and honking the horn. I had to laugh, when he honked the boat horn he did one long and two short honks....which is the the boat call to raise the bridge here in Duluth.

Jude and the Gals

We had some friends over on a very foggy and cold Saturday evening. Jude was in his glory growling chasing and making the girls scream.

Picture night

Trent took some after the fact and random pictures of us during our family picture photo shoot.

Jude Flying

You can not tell but Jax is actually peeing on me during this picture. That is what I get for wanting naked baby pictures of my 9 month old on the beach.

We had family pictures done last night and I think we (Chelsea) got some good ones. Chelsea from Magic Box Photography is soooo great! Trent took some side pics after Chelsea was done (we don't want to get in trouble and take the same shot) and here is a little preview. Next week we will be getting the proofs and we can view them on line. I will post the link so that you all can look at them too.

Watermelon Face

I want the big piece

Jude insisted on having the big piece of watermelon. I had not even finished cutting it and he wanted to eat it! So I gave him the big piece and sent him out side. I followed with the camera...

Is that the SUN???

We were so excited on Monday to have the sun finally come out after a very long cold week or two or three or four...we had to get out and play in the yard.
