Skiing at Giants Ridge

Skiing

Skiing at Giants Ridge on a warm Saurday afternoon with your family, does it get better. Jax went skiing for the first time ever and he loved it. He yelled "me ski" as soon as he came down the hill. I am sure Papa will have a sore back after bending over Jax all afternoon teaching him what to do. He did great for his first time! Jude picked up right where he left off last year...actually better! I think he has learned alot of balance and other similar skills from hockey. He will now turn back and forth down the hill and snowplow and stop all on his own. He is going up the J bar by himself and going down the bigger bunny hill all by himself. Way to go Jude!

Glen Avon, Mite 1, Silver

Here is Jude's first official hockey team photo. He is playing for Glen Avon, Mite 1, the SLiver team.

OUCH!

Jax was jumping on and off the couch when one time he missed and cracked the top of his nose right between the eyes on the back of the couch. The lump on his head was so big and looked so sore. Poor guy, he ended up with two shiners, No more monkeys jumping on the couch!

Mighty Ducks

Jude and Jax received Mighty Ducks jerseys from their friend Birsa for christmas. They had their name's printed on the back...the boys were so excited they wore them for three days straight...to bed and everything. They really thought they were part of the team.

Guess who is learning to skate

Hockey jamboree

Jude had his first hockey jamboree and loved every minute of it!

Precious

On the third day of Christmas....

Our third and final Christmas was spent at Grandma Marsha and Grandpa Pete's. Burkes Stepmom. Pete grilled the best salmon I have ever had and Marsha cooked up a great prime rib with all of the fixings. The boys only had Olivia to play with this year as the other kids had teh flu. They stil had a good time playing with their gifts and eating redi whip right out of the can.

Christmas Day

Christmas day is spent with the Cope side of the family. It is so wonderful to have almost all of the family together. It is loud, crazy and wonderful all at the same time. The boys along with their cousins ripped into their gifts and proceeded to play with them and eachother all day. The guys cooked up walleye and we feasted!!! soooo yummy!!!! There is nothing better than spending time with family. We are blessed.

Christmas Morning

Christmas morning Jude woke first and did not know where to look first he was so excited. Jax woke a short time later and was so excited to have gotten hockey breezers and a ski helmet that he did not take it off for a good hour. Jude was sepecially excited to get some "videwo games" Santa brought his some video games that help with letters and numbers. What a great christmas morning. The boys are at such an excitable age it is fantastic!!!

Trent and Brita got Jude and Jax.....drum roll please....oh yeah it is a drum set. So fun, both boys could not get enough of it. The drum set stays at Granny's.

Christmas Eve is always spent with Burke's side of the family. Jude went nuts and Jax was overwhelmed. We had a very nice dinner and a mountian of gifts to open. The evening was everything a couple of little boys could have hoped for!

Pre School Christmas Program

Jude was an angel in his pre school christmas program. It was so cute. His halo kept falling off...hmmmm... He was an angel that day any way. We could not bleieve how well he sang his songs and what a great job all of the kids did. Beyond cute!

Making a gingerbread house

Jude, Jax and Granny had fun making a gingerbread house. Really they had more fun eating the goodies along the way.

Glen Avon Hockey - Jude

Jude is getting ready for his first hockey jamboree! He is playing for Glen Avon and is loooovvving hockey. Jax is also getting in on the hockey action...stay tooned.
