All about Jax

Jude is usually so busy doing things that I forget to take pictures of Jax well this past two weeks I remembered to take a bunch of pictures of the little guy.

Tummy time

Pirates life for me

Yo ho yo ho a pirates life for Jax

Pirates

Jude is really into playing pirates and wanted Jax to be a pirate too so we put the bandana on Jax and had a pirate kind of a day.

Play Time

It is so cold out and it is a chore getting everyone dressed and in the car to go any where so Jodie and Lisel came down to our house and played the other day. What fun!

Bath Time

Jax is a big fan of bath time. Getting out of the bath and dressed is a totally different story.

Jax sitting on his own...kind of

The bumbo chair really holds little ones up right. They look so big sitting on their own.

Jax and Elmo

Jude really likes putting on this Elmo costume. So I had to take a picture of our two sons, Jax and Elmo.

First Time Skating

Mom and Jude

Dad and Jude Skating

Jude had a big day trying out his new Hockey skates that santa brought him for Christmas. We are fortunate to have a rink on Park Point so we can just drive about 2 miles and we are there. Jude spent a lot of time climbing and playing in the snow (with the skates on). He did hit the ice, literally....love the helmet. It is hard to skate and keep your balance, but he did great for his first time.

Signs

Burke and I thought that this sign was funny seeing as though it is winter and the sign said that the conditions were not safe for swimming. The sign is to warn for rip currents but it was a bit of a laugh with the lake frozen.

Best Anniversary of the Year

Today January 14th marks the SIX year anniversary of my Dad's Liver Transplant!!! I am so greatful for this day every year and make sure to reflect on my wonderful supportive and loving family and the great people at Mayo. Both my Dad and I would have been in a world of trouble with out their help, support, encouragement, dedication and love. Today I remember to be thankful to be alive and appreciate what a wonderful gift I have been given. I am blessed with a wonderful husband and two beautiful boys. My entire family is nothing short of extrodinary and I am greatful. To all of you, our extended family and friends, thank you for your support and love it was and always will be remembered and appreciated. It is so wonderful to report that we are both doing great!
Much love to you all, Laurie

Happy Birthday Burke

It was Burke's birthday last week and Jude thought that Burke should have a pirate cake. So we dressed up like pirates made swords and ate cake. Jude would have eaten all of the ice cream cake if we would have let him.

rare occurance

If only this happened more often.

Dancing King

We watched Mama Mia the other night and if you are an Abba fan, like I am, it is hard to sit still and not dance and sing along with the movie. Jude really liked the music in the movie and we sang danced through the whole thing. He now requests mama mia to be played on the cd player, I love it. We have dance parties all of the time. He is good little dancer and has more moves than his father, who has one move that he stole from Lynne Bailey.

My sweet boys

I just love this picture. Jude is so nice to his brother. He recently told us that his brother smells cute.
